Logics Technology Supporting BGC Canada in a Full Technology Refresh

The Challenge

BGC Canada Clubs serve young people during out-of-school hours in remote regions and city centres coast to coast. A key element of their programming requires current technology in the form of computers, tablets, and Microsoft Office licenses. Thanks to the generous funding of the Government of Canada’s Goal Getters Program, BGC initiated an assessment of their existing technology and what was required to update it so that the Kid Tech Nation and Raise the Grade programs could run effectively.

The Solution

Beginning in August 2022, Logics Technology has worked closely with the BGC Club tech leads to procure devices, train users on the equipment and steps needed for a smooth rollout. Follow-up sessions will provide 1:1 custom configuration/set-up details and remote live helpdesk support.

Mario Asta, Director of Logics Technology states: “We are excited to work with BGC Canada on this initiative. Our experience supporting kids' technology programs through an IT administrative lens equipped us to jump in and deliver a full turn-key solution to all Clubs.”

The Results

“We are pleased to work with Logics on this project given their background in the education and advanced technology space. They understood our specific needs both from a student programming and user case perspective and had the contacts required to present us with a very thorough solution,” stated Deena Reis-Binne, Director of Programs at BGC Canada.
